Spare Parts Logistics is a specialised service for customers who operate Field Engineers and have a need to deliver spare parts to those engineers on an efficient and cost effective time critical basis.

Rico has developed its systems and services so that it properly caters for the requirements of field engineers, this covers such things as enhanced delivery services so that parts are available nationally by 8pm in locations close to the engineer base location.

Service options include in-boot delivery so that the engineer does not need to travel.

Rico spare parts logistics also is highly geared around the reverse logistics activity for repair or disposal to ensure that the full logistics supply chain is optimised.

Our in-night distribution network, complemented by our huge inventory infrastructure, allows us to work through the night to get your technical parts to their specified destination before 8am the next morning.

Our Spare Parts Logistics division can collect new or repaired stock from various locations and dispatch multiple goods in one delivery. The service enables the collection of new or repaired parts directly from your repair agents, our national distribution centre, forward stock locations, your warehouse or our European warehouses, and delivery direct to Field Engineers.

Yes, we can pick up parts from engineers and return them to customers or vendors for repair.

Rico can offer next day services through overnight carrier networks at competitive prices, alternatively Rico through its own trunking network and “Last mile” delivery via Rico courier network can offer the following services pre-9am, pre-10:30am, pre-midday, pre-5pm and Saturday and Sunday delivery options are also available.

Yes, our unique TRACE system allows customers to track the progress of dispatches in real-time, at all times.
